Yet another hectic day of sporting action on Tuesday with Carling Cup and Copa del Rey football, as well ATP and WTA tennis to look forward to.
Before Wednesday's big Carling Cup tie between City and Liverpool, there is an all-Championship League Cup semi-final for fans to savour on Tuesday night at 20:00 (GMT) when Crystal Palace take on Cardiff City.
This will be Palace's fourth semi-final appearance in the competition and though they are yet to reach the final, they will fancy their chances this time around having famously dumped Manchester United out in the quarter-finals just six weeks ago.
In the Copa del Rey, reigning champions Real Madrid will look to secure a quarter-final place when they visit Malaga at 21:00. This one is delicately poised following the first leg which saw Madrid gain a narrow 3-2 advantage after going two goals behind.
Other live streaming Copa del Rey matches include Mallorca against Real Sociedad, while Racing Santander will play host to Mirandes.
Caroline Wozniacki and Lleyton Hewitt are among the star attractions in action for the first time in the Apia International Sydney tournament on Tuesday.
Over in New Zealand meanwhile, fifth seed Kevin Anderson faces eighth seed Philipp Kohlschreiber in their first round match in the ATP Heineken Open in Auckland.
In other sport, Round 5 of the CEV Men's and Women's Champions League gets underway on Tuesday, the Championship League snooker event continues as does the Challenger Series table tennis tournament in Ochsenhausen.
