Brisbane Broncos will be looking to keep on the tails of league leaders Melbourne Storm when they return to NRL action at home against the struggling Gold Coast Titans.

Melbourne Storm lead the way with eight wins from eight following their victory over the New Zealand Warriors on Thursday and the Broncos will be hoping to close that gap to two points again.
The Broncos are in second place after winning six of their opening seven matches with only one defeat and they should have no real problems beating the Titans despite it being a local derby.
Gold Coast Titans are struggling this season despite having the likes of Jamal Idris and Greg Bird in their ranks.
Defending champions Manly Sea Eagles will be looking to climb up the NRL ladder when they travel to take on Canterbury Bulldogs on Friday.
The Sea Eagles have not had the best of starts to the defence of their NRL title but it is hard to ignore the class running through the side and they will be there and thereabouts come play-off time.
This match has an extra bit of added spice with Des Hasler, who coached Manly to their NRL Grand Final success, is now in charge of the Bulldogs after leaving the Sea Eagles in controversial circumstances.
Manly, who are now coached by former player Geoff Toovey, have managed three wins from their opening seven matches and currently occupy the eighth and final play-off place.
The Bulldogs are two points and three places ahead of their opponents and will be looking to use home advantage in their favour in order to collect their fifth win of the campaign.
These two last met in Round 24 in 2011 with the Sea Eagles running out 27-16 winners and they will be looking for a similar result this time around.
The Yonex Sunrise India Open Badminton reaches day four on Friday with a number of key matches taking place, while the FIVB beach volleyball season is in full swing with two events taking place with the women’s Sanya Open in China and the men’s Silesia Open in Poland.
