The Qatar Open continues in Doha on Saturday with a number of high quality table tennis matches being streamed online for free.
The quarter-finals of the Qatar Open took place on Friday with everything going according to the script.
The top four seeds have all made it through to the semi-finals of the Doha event.
Top seed Wang Hao faced a stern test in Korea’s Lee Jung Woo, but he had enough about him to claim a 12-10 9-11 8-11 11-5 11-7 11-9 win, while number two seed Xu Xin cruised through with an 11-7 11-4 11-6 11-2 victory over Jiang Tianyi.
Number three seed Ma Lin from China was pushed all the way and he managed to secure a 5-11 11-7 8-11 11-13 11-6 11-7 11-5 hard-fought win over Jun Mizutani.
Fourth seed Joo Se Hyuk had to overcome difficult times against Germany’s Patrick Franziska as he claimed a 5-11 11-6 11-3 11-7 8-11 11-6 triumph.
