The Table Tennis Challenger Series is back in action from Monday with a two-day event in Ochsenhausen.
The Table Tennis Challenger Series is a weekly event which runs from Monday until Tuesday this week, with eight of the world’s best table tennis players taking to the table.
After the weekly rounds have been completed the top eight players compete in a Final Tournament to determine an overall winner – players have to compete in at least 10 tournaments to qualify for the final.
None of the top five are in action this week, although top Czech Republic player David Petr takes to the table for only his third tournament this year as he looks to improve on his ninth place standing at the moment.
Petr opens up his account on Monday at 0730 GMT against Dimitrij Prokoptsov, before facing off against Marek Cihak, Ovidiu Ionescu, Lei Yang and Erik Schreyer later in the day.
