The Table Tennis Challenger Series continues on Tuesday with day two and you can watch all the action live at Bet365 Live Streaming.
The Table Tennis Challenger Series is a weekly international tournament that takes place from Monday until Wednesday and sees eight players taking part over the three days.
After the weekly rounds have been completed then the top eight players will take part in a Final Tournament to grant the overall winner – Players have to compete in at least 10 tournaments to qualify for the final.
Petr David from the Czech Repulic currently leads the standings on 2235 and he has a great opportunity to extend his lead considering no other player in the top eight will be competing this week.
Thomas Keinath, who competed in the last three tournaments, is still in second place and has moved on to 2000 points but could find himself further behind after opting not to be involved this week.
The highest ranked player after David is Filip Szymanski who is currently in 11th place and he knows a good performance over the next two days could see him move closer to the eighth and final spot.
David will be quietly satisfied with Monday’s showing after picking up wins over Pavol Mego and Jonathan Groth, although he did slip up against Filip Szymanski.
He will go up against Peter Musko and Lubomir Pistej in a bid to boost his overall points tally.
