Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Kim Clijsters and Maria Sharapova are all in action as the Australian Open semi-finals get underway.
The women kick things off on Thursday as the line-up is decided for Saturday's final. Victoria Azarenka has ruled supreme so far but she's benefited from a kind draw and has yet to be seriously tested. That could put her at a disadvantage against the battle-hardened defending champion Kim Clijsters who's toughed out a couple of superb wins against Li Na and Caroline Wozniacki. Azarenka has never made a Grand Slam final and Clijsters will be quick to capitalise on any nerves.
Maria Sharapova looked extremely impressive on Wednesday and she'll be keen for revenge against Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova who beat her a couple of times in 2011.
And then it's time for the most hotly anticipated clash of the tournament. Roger Federer against Rafa Nadal for the 27th time. Can Federer convert his smooth form into another Grand Slam semi-final or will it be yet another notch on the head-to-head for Nadal.
Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray will be interested spectators as they prepare for another edition of their own engaging rivalry. Murray will need the performance of his life to go through but he's clearly got more belief these days with Ivan Lendl behind him and this could just be his time.
