Iran and Australia remain the only unbeaten teams in the 16th Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship as the tournament starts to get interesting.
Iran and Australia are the only teams with unbeaten records after a day of competitive matches at the 16th Asian Senior Men's Volleyball Championship at Azadi Hall on Sunday.
The top two teams from Pools A to D join together in Pool E and F for places 1-8, while the third and fourth ranked teams are grouped in Pool G and H to play for places 9 to 16 to decide the rankings for the quarter-finals.
The teams, who met in the preliminary round, will not play against each other again with the results taken into the classification round.
This tournament also doubles up as a qualifier for both the FIVB Men's World Cup 2011 and the eventual champions will move onto the World Cup, due to take place from November 4 to 18 in Japan.
