Triple world champions Brazil will hope to keep the pressure on leaders Poland when they face Cuba in the FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Cup on Monday.
The Brazilians trail Poland by a single point going into the seventh round of matches following a straight sets win over South American rivals Argentina (25-22, 25-20, 25-21) on Sunday.
Their opponents Cuba come into the game on the back of an impressive 3-1 win over Italy (25-21, 19-25, 25-20, 25-17), which saw them move up to fourth in the standings, three points adrift of third place Brazil.
With Olympic Games qualification assured for the top three at the end of the tournament, this should be an extremely competitive affair.
Leandro Vissotto Neves of Brazil, who scored 17 points against Argentina, and Cuba's Wilfredo Leon Venero are the ones to watch.
