Itas Diatec Trentino will shoot for another win in the Italian Serie A1 on Sunday as it takes on Pallavolo Modena.
The league leaders have 47 points, eight clear of closest pursuer Lannutti Cuneo. They have won their last 10 matches in all competitions, including back-to-back wins over Noliko Maaseik to reach the CEV Champions League Playoffs 6. In its last domestic match, Trentino defeated Umbria 25-21 25-13 25-17.
Out to lead Trentino against Modena are Jan Stokr, Steve Brinkman, Osmany Juantorena Portuondo and Matteo Burgsthaler.
Modena, meanwhile, is in fourth spot with 35 points. They are coming off a 25-21 25-20 25-21 sweep of Pallavolo Padova. They also defeated Gabeca Pallavolo 3-1 in the Coppa Italia.
Trentino swept Modena at the PalaSport G. Panini 25-17 25-20 25-16 in their first meeting this season.
