The ANZ Championship Netball season continues this Sunday with two matches being streamed live online with West Coast Fever facing off against NSW Swifts and Adelaide Thunderbirds taking on Queensland Firebirds.
The West Coast Fever and NSW Swifts lock horns in the ANZ Championship.
The Fever are languishing in ninth place with only four points from nine matches, just ahead of bottom-ranked Canterbury Tactix (2). West Coast drew a bye in the last round.
The Swifts, meanwhile, are in fifth spot with 12 points. They are behind the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Queensland Firebirds on goal difference.
The Swifts are coming off a 45-50 defeat to the Queensland Firebirds. Susan Pratley topscored for NSW with 29 goals.
In their first meeting this season, the Swifts cooled down the Fever 52-47 in Newcastle.
Adelaide Thunderbirds host the Queensland Firebirds at the Netball SA Stadium.
Both clubs are in the top four of the table. Adelaide is in third place with 12 points, tied with Queensland with a game to spare.
The Thunderbirds are aiming to bounce back after losing to the Melbourne Vixens 40-48 last week. Carla Borrego led Adelaide with 21 goals while Erin Bell added 19.
The Firebirds, meanwhile, are coming off a 50-45 victory over the NSW Swifts. Tournament top scorer Romelda Aiken led the way with 38 goals.
In their first meeting this season, the Thunderbirds brought down the Firebirds 54-44.
