James Willstrop will be looking to bounce back from a shock Group One defeat on Friday as he takes on Amr Shabana for a place in the final of the PSA World Series Finals at The Queen’s Club in London.
The PSA World Series Finals are being staged at The Queen’s Club in London with the top eight male and female players in the world.
Willstrop booked his place in the semi-finals after topping Group One with two wins and one defeat, while Shabana finished second in Group Two with a similar record.
Willstrop looked on course to go through the group stages unbeaten before he hit a stumbling block on Friday as he crashed to a shock 11-6 6-11 11-9 loss against Mohamed Azlan Iskandar.
Like Willstrop, Shabana had already booked his semi-final spot after winning his first two games, but he failed to grab top spot as he lost to unbeaten Frenchman Gregory Gaultier in their dead rubber clash.
