Nick Matthew will be looking to prove to the world that he should be world number one when he battle James Willstrop in the final of the Tournament of Champions in New York.
Matthew is actually seeded number one for this tournament, but he was dethroned as the official world number one at the end of 2011 by none other than James Willstrop - his opponent in the Tournament of Champions Final.
Matthew, who had beaten Wael El Hindi, Adrian Grant and Mohamed El Shorbagy earlier in the competition, booked his place in the final with a semi-final win over Frenchman Gregory Gaultier.
Willstrop, who is seeded two for the tournament, booked his place in the final with a win over the unseeded Englishman Daryl Selby.
Willstrop had already beaten Zac Alexander, Mohammed Abbas and fellow Englishman Peter Barker in the early stages.
