Two Indonesian sides, Garuda and Rajawali, contest the Axiata Cup final this weekend.
Indonesia Rajawali's young squad of shuttlers have their sights set on getting one over the more experienced Indonesia Garuda and claiming the $400,000 top prize.
The final takes place on Saturday and Sunday at Gelora Bung Karno Tennis Indoor Stadium in Jakarta.
Rajawali come into the final brimming with confidence after sweeping past the Philippines and Thailand 3-0 before defeating Group K favourites Malaysia Tigers 2-1 in KL and dispatching with the Malaysia Leopards in the semi finals.
Garuda's route to the final saw them drop just one match. They beat Singapore, Vietnam and the Leopards 3-0 before seeing off the Tigers in the semi finals.
Taufik, Simon Santoso and Sony Dwi Kuncoro are expected to represent Garuda in the singles, with Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan set for doubles action.
