The Djarum Indonesia Open comes to a conclusion on Sunday with the men's and women's singles finals taking centre stage.
Local hero Simon Santoso defeated India's Parupalli Kashyap 15-21 12-21 in 46 minutes at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Saturday to progress to Sunday's men's singles Djarum Indonesia Open final.
The Indonesian ace will face Du Pengyu in the decider after the Chinese player put Hong Kong's Hu Yun to the sword in Saturday other semi-final (21-16, 21-12).
Two-time women's singles champion Saina Nehwal of India made light work of her semi-final encounter with Korea's Ji Hyun Sung of Korea as she progressed to the final of this Super Series event for the fourth consecutive year.
The world number five shuttler, who landed the Thai Open last month, is coming into top form at the just the right time with the London Olympic Games just weeks away.
Nehwal won back-to-back titles in Jakarta in 2009 and 2010 and will be determined to make up for last year's final defeat when she faces fourth seeded Li Xuerui of China.
Li caused a major upset in her semi when she defeated top seed and compatriot Wang Yihan (21-17, 21-14).
In terms of head-to-heads Saina Nehwal is at a disadvantage ahead of Sunday's match, with the rising Chinese star leading 4-1.
