Barako Bull will try to continue its winning ways in the PBA Governor's Cup on Wednesday when it battles Air21.
The Boosters were rejuvinated with the entry of new import Leroy Hickerson. The American, who replaced Jamine Peterson, shrugged off jet lag to lead the Boosters to a 111-107 victory over Petron last Friday.
Hickerson, who is on his second stint in the PBA after playing for the old Air21 franchise in 2010, tallied 32 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Ronald Tubid and Doug Kramer also played well, posting 17 points apiece.
Barako improved to 2-2 following that victory.
Air21, in contrast, has lost three of its four games. The Express were crushed by B-Meg 78-91 in an out-of-town game in Davao del Sur last Saturday. Zach Graham had another spectacular performance with 39 points and 12 rebounds but still could not lead his team to victory.
