Partizan Belgrade needs to beat CSKA Moscow in their final Group A game to qualify for the Top 16.
The multi-titled Serbian champions are tied with Nanterre at fourth spot with 3-6 records. In case the two teams win their last matches, Partizan will advance as it has a superior head-to-head points differential over Nanterre. The same scenario will apply if both Partizan and Nanterre lose their last fixtures.
The only way for Nanterre to qualify is to win against Fenerbahce and hope that Partizan loses to CSKA.
Beating CSKA (6-3), however, could be a tall order for Partizan. In their first meeting this season, the Russian powerhouse crushed Partizan 88-46 in Moscow.
Partizan's fate will depend on the performance of top scorers Bogdan Bogdanovic (14.2 ppg) and Dragan Milosavljevic (14.1 ppg).
Tarence Kinsey (12.4 ppg) is another option in the wings for head coach Dusko Vujosevic while rebounding machine Joffrey Lauvergne (10.8 ppg, 9.8 rpg) will be tested against CSKA's big men.
CSKA, meanwhile, is on a roll lately and is already guaranteed of a last 16 berth.
Vladimir Micov (10.4 ppg) and Sonny Weems (10 ppg) are the top point producers for the Russian giants but head coach Ettore Messina has plenty of other scoring options.
Sasha Kaun (7.6 ppg, 3.6 rpg) and Kyle Hines (9.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg) will join forces inside along with Nenad Krstic and Andrey Vorontsevich.
For more support outside, Messina will turn to Jeremy Pargo and Milos Teodosic.
