Arsenal can effectively kill off Manchester City's title challenge when they host the Citizens at the Emirates on Easter Sunday.

Sky Sports have outdone themselves with a thriller of a match scheduled for Easter Sunday. Not only do Arsenal and Manchester City play the best football in the Premier League but the match is also effectively a title decider after Manchester United moved five points clear of the Citizens at the top of the table on Monday.

Any draw or defeat would end City's challenge and, unfortunately for Roberto Mancini, that looks fairly likely on Sunday afternoon. It is 6/4 at Bet Victor that Arsenal take all three points or 19/10 with the same firm that they hold the one time league leaders to a draw.

It is the latter, rather than the former, that looks most likely as the Gunners have been in excellent form of late. Arsene Wenger's side lost to QPR last weekend but that followed a run of seven Premier League wins and they are looking nailed on for a top four place. 

That is in contrast to Manchester City who are falling apart at the moment. Mancini is showing himself to be a poor man manager with his constant criticisms of Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko while his attempts at mind games ahead of Manchester United's match with Blackburn Rovers were laughable. Sergio Aguero's return from a foot injury will help the visitors in the Emirates but the Argentine doesn't really possess the presence to trouble Arsenal's flimsy backline. Odds of 2/1 at William Hill that City win this weekend therefore make little appeal.

Aguero is 6/1 at Betfred to open the scoring on Sunday although those looking for a first goalscorer bet can't possibly ignore the claims of Robin Van Persie. The Dutchman looks like a shoe-in for Player of the Year after scoring an incredible 33 goals already this season and he won't be 9/2 (Stan James) to score first at the Emirates very often.
