Nottingham Forest will be looking to mount a serious play-off push when they host struggling Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
The Tricky Trees are currently in 11th place with 23 points and are only four points off making the play-offs.
Forest’s downfall this season has been the inability to turn a point into three as they have drawn eight of their 16 matches with only five being wins.
If they can start turning draws into the wins then they will certainly be in the mix to reach the Premier League at the end of the season.
Their eighth draw came last weekend when they were held to a 2-2 draw away at rivals Leicester City with Simon Cox levelling matters from the spot in the 67th minute.
Wednesday, who gained promotion from League One last season, are really struggling being back in the Championship.
They find themselves down in 20th place with only Barnsley, Ipswich Town, Peterborough United and Bristol City below them on the ladder. They have picked up just four wins all season and will need to be on top of their game if they are to make it five.
The Owls come into this game on the back of 3-1 drubbing at Middlesbrough with Gary Madine grabbing their only goal of the game four minutes into the second half.
These two last met in February 2010 with Forest taking all three points with a 2-1 win and they will be looking for a similar outcome on Saturday.
