Arsenal hope to bounce back to winning ways in the Clausura on Saturday evening.
Arsenal's title bid suffered a set back thanks to a surprising defeat at the hands of San Lorenzo last week. That 2-0 loss left them in sixth position in the standings, five points adrift of leaders Boca Juniors.
The hosts now have five wins, four draws and three losses to their name in the Clausura and will be looking to bounce back to winning ways this evening.
Independiente are only two points behind Arsenal in the table and come into the match on a good run of form, with five wins and just one defeat in their last eight matches.
Interestingly, Arsenal are unbeaten in seven matches at home, though haven't won there in three, whilst Independiente haven't won any of their last three away, but are unbeaten in their last five outings.
Arsenal will be without the services of Carlos Carbonero, who is suspended for this one.
Independiente meanwhile, welcome back Adrian Argacha from suspension, though goalkeeper Fabian Assman is out injured.
