The 2013 Breeders Cup will take place on November 1st and 2nd live at Santa Anita in Los Angeles.
The 30th Breeders' Cup, Thoroughbred racing's most prestigious global event – currently consisting of 15 races held over two days with purses totaling $25.5 million – will be run on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2, 2013, and will be televised live to a worldwide audience of more than 130 countries.
The world famous meeting is racing’s most exciting extravaganza and the Breeders' Cup World Championships has become recognized as the ultimate test of horse and jockey. The world’s leading superstars head to the event and battle it out in a sensational climax to the year-long championship and with the meeting encompassing almost every division of the sport; the Breeders’ Cup really does present racing fans with the grandest spectacle imaginable.
The Breeders’ Cup has developed a reputation for showcasing racing at the world’s highest level of competition and it was no different in 2012 when Fort Larned powered to a sensational success in the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Game On Dude heads the betting for this year's Classic and his followers will be gaining confidence ahead of the race. Last year's first and second Fort Larned and Mucho Mach Man will be back to battle it out, while Ron The Greek and Will Take Charge could also line up. Aidan O'Brien could also send over Declaration Of War as he looks for Grade One glory in the most famous race in the world.
