Seven races are lined up for us at Leicester on Tuesday with the first event due off at 210. The advance going at the Oadby circuit is ‘Good, Good to Firm in places’.
Race 1 (Leicester 210) – Sugar House is a well bred sort representing Godolphin and is expected to go well on debut but we also include Jeremy Noseda’s mount Henrietta Rose, who, in a reflection of recent news, is partnered by Frankie Dettori.
Race 2 (Leicester 240) – Jalaa, a half-brother to Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes winner Intense Focus, is a fascinating runner for Sheik Hamdan and his new trainer Richard Hannon. The champion trainer is keen to make a good impression for his new patron and we rate the colt a nap selection to score on debut.
Race 3 (Leicester 315) – Loyal Master and Flexible Flyer are our two against the field in a well contested Diamond Jubilee Handicap, one of the main events on today’s card.
Race 4 (Leicester 350) – Khazium and Marinus are the clear picks on official figures for this claiming contest and while they both have questions to answer we are more than hopeful they will see us through to tthe penultimate leg of the bet.
Race 5 (Leicester 420) – The Cornish Cockney, Tigertoo and the completely unexposed Solar View (representing Sir Mark Prescott) are our chosen trio for this trappy 10 furlong handicap.
Race 6 (Leicester 455) – Another pair of completely unexposed runners are relied on to see us through to a winning dividend in this very tough second leg of the 10 furlong handicap. Sea Fever and Neige D’Antan are both capable of showing considerable improvement on what they have done so far.
