Ronnie O'Sullivan takes on Stephen Maguire in a repeat of the German Masters final on Friday morning for a place in the China Open Semi-Finals.
O'Sullivan is back with a bang having sat out the last two events through illness and will be hoping to make amends by going all the way this weekend.
The Rocket has seen off Marcus Campbell and Mark Williams en route to this stage and remains on course for a Semi-Final with Judd Trump should the youngster also progress.
Maguire has showcased his most deadly attacking form this season and will be out to avenge his 9-7 defeat to the three-time world champion in the German Masters final in February.
Both are renowned fast flowing entertainers and are certain to contest a thriller on Friday as they head into in the World Championships as genuine contenders next month.
The duo have met 12 times in previous events in total and O'Sullivan has dominated proceedings with ten victories.
The Chigwell ace once said that Maguire could potential dominate the sport in years to come but as yet the Scot has not fully lived up to expectations. He will be eyeing a scalp on Friday morning however with a an abundance of prize money and ranking points on offer.
The match begins at 7.30am GMT and will be streamed live over the best of nine frames from the Beijing University students gymnasium, China.
