The Serbians lead the group with nine points, one ahead of the Cubans.
Serbia beat Cuba 3-1 in their Week 1 meeting in Hamamatsu, Japan. The Europeans started Week 2 with a 3-1 victory over Russia. Uros Kovacevic scored 16 points to lead his team to a 25-23 20-25 25-20 25-23 victory.
"Even though it was a good game for us, that’s not our real face since we had to go to our young players. Their desire to succeed was a key for us in the crucial moments," Serbia coach Igor Kolakovic said.
The Cubans, meanwhile, are coming off a 3-1 win over Japan. Led by Rolando Cepeda and Wilfredo Leon, the Caribbean side posted a 25-21 25-20 22-25 25-21 win.
