How to Watch Live
Bet and Watch allows you to watch selected races which you have placed a bet on. The service is provided in conjunction with the dedicated horse racing channels At The Races and Racing UK.
In order to watch your selected UK or Irish race:
- Your PC must meet the minimum set of system requirements in order to view the video feed.
- You must have an account and be logged in.
- You must place a single bet of £1/€1 or greater in the win or each way market on the race you wish to view.
- You must be located within Ireland or the UK.
- You must place your qualifying bet after 9.30am on the day of the race.
Once you've done this, simply click on the 'Watch Live' button towards the top right of the race information - it's the one that looks like a television. The broadcast will begin 30 seconds before the race is scheduled to start and will last for approximately ten minutes.

Start Watching Live
Even on your iPhone or iPad! If you are a horse racing fan and are accessing Paddy Power using your iPhone or iPad, you can now avail of their Live Streaming Service on all 56 UK and Irish racecourses covered by At The Races. This service is available on both their Store App or through their Web App, which you will find on paddypower.mobi on Safari.
In order to watch a race live on the go, all you have to do to is place a bet of £/€1 or more on that race. Once you have done this the race will be listed in the “My Live Races” page in “Horse Racing". The stream will start a couple of minutes before the race is due to start and will continue of for several minutes after it has finished.

At present this mobile live streaming is only available through the Paddy Power iPhone/iPad Apps and Web App, but they are looking to extend it to their Android channels in the near future.

If you have watched sports streamed live on Paddy Power TV in the past, you will notice that they have had to enforce certain changes in how they provide Live Streaming to their online customers.
They say these changes were necessary to ensure that they can continue to provide top quality coverage to their customers, so let's see what's different now:
- From now you need to have a positive balance on your paddypower.com account to watch Live Streaming events online.
- This means you can watch the great live action they provide with just one penny in your account, but it also means that if you placed a few bets early in the day and come back later with a zero balance you will not be able to watch the events you have bet on.
- Should you bet on a match after it started and navigate away from it, you will still be able to view it when you go back to it.
- If you are watching a live stream and for some reason log out of your account or are automatically logged out, you will not be able to resume watching the stream if your balance is now zero. Not sure that is an improvement?
Bet and Watch - Live Horse Racing
The Bet and Watch service for UK and Irish horse racing remains unaffected by thees changes. To watch horse racing live with Paddy Power you still have to place a £1/€1 bet on UK and Irish racing in order to be eligible to watch these races on the website regardless of balance.
Australian Open Live Streaming
Paddy Power is now covering the Australian Open on their website, but the process of unlocking the live streams of the first Grand Slam of the tennis season is slightly different to the above:
- Minimium bet €5/£5
- Streaming is based on the court the match you bet on takes place
- If you bet €5/£5 on one match on a particular court you can view ALL matches for that court in that session.
- Multiple bets are based on division of stakes across the number of legs in the multiple.
- For example if you place a £10 double on two games you can watch both games or if you place a £15 treble you will be able to watch all three games. However, if you place a treble for less than £15 (or a double of less than £10) you will not be able to view any matches. An exception to this will be if the selections in your double or treble are playing on the same court - then the minimum stake is £5/€5 for all the matches.
