Officially licensed streams of the Shanghai Masters are available to watch live on your PC or laptop.

The Shanghai Masters was introduced to the snooker calendar in the 2007/08 season as the second ranking event to be hosted in China after the China Open.

China's stunning economic growth since the turn of the century has contributed to an increased popularity of the sport in the country, as has the success of local players such as Ding Junhui and Liang Wenbo.

As with the China Open, an extra wild-card round featuring eight players is included before the first round proper.

The tournament currently takes place at the Shanghai Grand Stage in September and is the second full ranking event of the season.
