ATP Tennis matches are now available as free live streams from around the globe. 

Tennis has been played professionally since the mid 1920s, but each year the ATP Tour draws in more avid tennis fans as live streams are becoming more readily available to watch online without any subscription fees.

This year, the 2012 ATP season starts in Doha from January 1st and is played right through to November 12th, when it finishes in London. With 63 tournaments reaching every continent on the planet, the Tour is truly a global spectacle.
 
Each ATP event will be streamed live online and Livestreamingsport.com will bring you the the latest news and match previews so you know where you can watch the tournaments online and, most importantly, for free. The 2012 season has a lot in store for tennis fans, and in order to make sure that you don't miss any of the live action, we have put together a list the most important dates for your diary for the 2012 season.
 
The tennis calendar centres around the four majors and we won’t have to wait long for our first taste of Grand Slam action. The players will barely have had the chance to dust off their racket bags before the Australian Open begins on January 18th with Novak Djokovic going for a hat-trick of titles down under.
 
The first of the nine Masters 1000 events gets underway on March 5th in the panoramic settings of Indian Wells, deep in the Californian desert followed by the self-styled ‘fifth Grand Slam’ in Miami on March 19th. 
 
After that it’s time for the dirt rats to emerge for the clay-court which begins in low-key style in Houston and Casablanca (April 9th) before rapidly gathering pace towards the French Open (May 28th – June 10th) where Rafael Nadal will be looking to make history by winning a record seventh title.
 
Wimbledon (June 25th-July 8th) follows soon afterwards and lest we forget, 2012 is of course Olympic year and so the Tour will make two stops at the hallowed lawns of SW19 (Olympic tennis runs between July 30th and August 5th).    
 
The American hard court swing has long been regarded as Andy Murray’s best chance of winning a slam and the Brit will be hoping to repeat his 2008 US Open final run when the action gets underway at Flushing Meadows on August 27th.
 
It’s all about the ATP World Tour Finals from there onwards with most of the top 20 scrapping for those vital top eight spots throughout the autumn. The ATP have shortened the season for the first time by getting rid of the week gap between the Paris Masters (October 29th) and the Tour Finals (November 5th). How this affects the chances of the likes of Roger Federer (who won both events in 2011) remains to be seen but as ever it promises to be a thrilling and frenetic end to the season. 

The tour itself is divided up into three categories, the ATP Masters 1000, the ATP World Tour 500 and the ATP World Tour 250, and the season also includes the so-called Challenger tournaments.
